The Little Magazine Collection, one of the most extensive of its kind in the United States, holds approximately 7,000 English-language literary magazines published in the United States, Great Britain, Canada, and Australia/New Zealand, mostly in the 20th century. They feature the work of established as well as obscure writers, many of whom eventually achieved critical and public recognition as a result of those early publications. They have been especially influential in the historical development of modern and experimental poetry. <more>
