The South Asian Periodicals Index provides bibliographic citations to the extensive periodical literature published in and about South Asia. An ever growing resource, the South Asian Periodicals Index strives to be inclusive in terms of subject matter, geographic heritage and linguistic origin.
Original Script and Romanization
The index represents citations in their original script and in transliteration, both using Unicode. To view these scripts properly, one should have a Unicode-enabled browser. In searching, diacritics should be ignored and original scripts can be searched either by cutting and pasting from other sources or by using alternate keyboards. All transliterated titles have followed the ALA-LC Romanization Tables.
