Evoke memories of the grandeur of Lake Geneva in its heyday when it came to be known as the “Newport of the West.” Enjoy vintage images of elegant summer homes, picturesque shoreline, city parks, and downtown businesses from every decade of the 20th century.
Additions in 2012 include several plat books and atlases, spanning 1873-1962.
Images of Lake Geneva is collaborative project completed by the UWDCC and the Lake Geneva Public Library.
Images of Lake Geneva was funded, in part, through a 2005 and 2012 Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant. This grant provides financial support for public libraries to digitize and make available online, their local library resources.
